Adani & WolfDJ // NL // Smooth jazz, funk, grooves
Apart from playing on festivals and in clubs with their ‘regular’ band, Adani & Wolf also perform on stages around the world with a more DJ-like configuration. They did this in Rio, Amsterdam, Sofia, Ibiza, etc.
The exact configuration of this Soundsystem can be different every time they play. But one thing is always the same: it’s an exciting mix of great live musicians and great records! Adani & Wolf themselves take place behind the turntables but will also now and than grab an instrument when they feel like it and the music asks for it. They can always feature one or more great solists to play with the records, add their specific flavour and thus lifting the music higher and higher. This solist can be a saxophone player, trumpet player, a lead vocalist, percussionist or any musician Adani & Wolf can get their hands on.
Adani & Wolf usually play a 2 or 3 hour set with their Soundsystem. In this set they will play a coherent but wide range of different music styles: from swinging Brazilian grooves and songs to steaming seventies jazzfunk and soul. From groovy Afrobeats to great uptempo jazzy 2007 chilltunes. This energetic music combined with the intensity and drive of the musicians: a certain guarantee for a hot dancefloor!
