MasonDJ // NL // Electro, Tech House, Breaks

‘Exceeder’ became one of the biggest electro tunes of 2006/2007 with support from all kinds of DJ’s – from Fatboy Slim to Eric Prydz, Mike Monday to Tiga and Sharam Jey to John Digweed. Just to name a few. The familiar funky electro synths and basslines have rocked Ibiza and festivals across Europe and has been picked up on the airwaves with Pete Tong hailing ‘Exceeder’ as his ‘Essential New Tune’ and Mason appearing as guest DJ on Roger Sanchez’ ‘Release Yourself’ and many other radio shows worldwide. The single version as mash up included vocals of Princess Superstar and reached #3 in UK Top-40 after which over 25 labels worldwide signed the record.

New releases are out with a fantastic remix of John Dahlback on Mason’s Bermuda Triangle (Nebula, UK) and Intimate Express at Pickadoll, Johns own label. After Mason’s first mix CD named ‘5 Years Electronation’ (Letroluv Records) late 2007, a new mix CD is planned for May 2008 called ‘The Amsterdam Tapes Vol. 1′. Amongst a busy DJ tour schedule, Mason keeps writing new tracks for his debut album, scheduled for late 2008 with his studio partner The Maker.

With performances as DJ or Live at the main stages of Dutch biggest festivals Dance Valley, Mysteryland and Extrema Outdoor, UK’s most popular Global Gathering and Creamfields, Belgiums Tomorrowland, 10 Days Off… and many other cool parties including several Sensation White events, and the best clubs worldwide like Fabric (UK), Amnesia (Ibiza), The Arches (SCOT), Sankeys (UK),  Sirena (Brazil), Ministry of Sound (UK), Cocoon (GER), Space (Miami), Zouk, Club 11 (NL), Paradiso (NL), Babyface (CN), we may say that this youngster isn’t just a one off hit wonder in global clubbing scene. From Tokyo to Rio de Janeiro and from Paris to Stockholm people got exceeded by his sound. Hope you will be next!
