Introduction about Mason by Marc Lankreijer (AMS)

From 1993-1999 I produced The 12”-Show, my own radio show at regional radio station Goylandt FM. I got introduced to Iason Chronis in 1996, who’s by then still on high school in Bussum. He starts taking care of the PR and promotion for my radio show by spreading the monthly flyers with the line-up of the guest DJ’s in the radio show to all high schools in Bussum. Within 2 years he started deejaying after the radio show as the crowd screamed for more when the show was over. This became so popular that he started to throw parties himself. When famous DJ’s started to spin regularly at his ‘Digital Dreams’ parties it looked like a DJ career was starting. In 1999 I offered Iason, who named himself DJ Jason the Mason by then, to book him abroad. We went several times to Finland together that year playing at clubs and festivals. This was so successful that I started AMS and became his agent and publisher.
