Maíte Hontelé studied jazz and latin music at the Rotterdam Conservatory and graduated successfully in 2004. Since then she is one of the most asked for latin trumpeters in Holland. Maite performed amongst artists Tasha’s World, Mala Vita, but also with DJ Tiësto and even toured with the Buena Vista Social Club for Musica Cabana.
Maite has toured a lot of countries, amongst others Oman, Kazachstan, Colombia, Spain, Austria and Germany and played at the famous North Sea Jazz Festival in Holland. Besides that she rocks on stage with DJ’s playing latin house music to give the night a funky and specy flavour.
